Alesya Miloradovich is a French political scientist, civil activist and expert in the field of geopolitics and security studies. She co-organised an illegal trip of 22 children from France to Russia-annexed Crimea in August 2016 and took part in the politically biased observation mission at the regional elections in Russia in September 2017, 2018, 2019.

In July 2019, the Moscow City Election Commission (MCEC) refused to register the overwhelming majority of independent opposition candidates for the elections to the Moscow City Duma. This provoked mass protests in Moscow and undermined the legitimacy of the elections.
