Sylvie Goddyn is a French politician. She was a member of the European Parliament from 2014 to 2019, a Municipal Councillor of Roubaix from 2001 to 2008 and a Regional Councilor for Nord-Pas-de-Calais from 2004 to 2015. She joined the National Rally / Rassemblement National (former National Front) in 1989, before becoming a historic leader of the movement in the North, and excluded from the party in 2018 because of her support for Nicolas Dupont-Aignan from Debout la France (DLF). Expected to appear on DLF's list for the European elections, she was not a candidate.

On 29 July 2018, Cambodia held general elections to elect 125 members of the National Assembly, the lower house of the Parliament of Cambodia. Due to the fact that the Cambodian authorities banned the main opposition party in 2017, Western states declined to send any observers to monitor the general elections.
