Это мои вторые выборы, на которых я выступаю в качестве (международного) наблюдателя в Луганске. Прошлый раз я здесь был на праймериз в 2016 году. И я видел, что на тех выборах все происходило достаточно хорошо, однако сегодня у вас произошли некоторые улучшения.

Я был очень рад видеть, что еще в 9.00 (совпадает с мск) было очень много людей на избирательных участках. Так что люди действительно используют свою возможность голосовать, и я считаю, что это та возможность, которую международная общественность должна признать. Так как минские соглашения не запрещают такой вариант проведения голосования.

On 11 November 2018, the so-called Lugansk People’s Republic, located within the internationally recognised borders of Ukraine, held “elections” to elect a head of the “republic” and members of its “parliament”. The overwhelming majority of the world’s nations does not recognise the sovereignty of the Lugansk People’s Republic, while international institutions such as the OSCE ODIHR considered “elections” there as illegitimate and did not send international election observers there.
